Q: I'd like to have an activity activate 1 day after a Buyer consultation but I'm not sure what field to use. Any recommendations on a field to store the buyer consult date?
A: I would use a contact workflow and assign an activity named "Buyer Consultation [[Contact#FullName]] " and use 0 day after "Next Appointment Date" and "Next Appointment Time" as the time.
THEN use a second activity "Buyer Followup" and assign it as "1 day after "Completion Date" and select "Buyer Consultation [[Contact#FullName]]" as the activity which needs to be completed.
This way if the next appointment date changes then the 2nd activity will change with it and not be assigned until the Buyer Consultation is completed.
