What is the Property Search page panel?

The Property Search page panel can be displayed on your home page and allows users to search for properties without going to the search page. Please note that the Property Search page panel is only available on the home page.

To edit the Property Search page panel, you will need to go to your IDX Site Management which can be found under Office Settings. Click on the home page on the left side in your page menu bar. Please note, the home page may have a different title if you changed it. Look for the home icon next to the page that indicates that it is one of the two home page options.

Scroll down to the Page Panels section and click on the arrow to the right of Property Search. Here are the options you have for your property search panel:

  1. Check this box if you would like this panel displayed on your home page.
  2. This is the Property Search Background Color for the panel. It can be any color, and you have the ability to make it transparent by opening the color palette and moving the bar to your desired setting.
  3. Under the Property Search Headline, you have the option to make changes to the appearance of the text by clicking on any of the tools in the editor bar. These include the following:
    • Bold, italicized, underlined
    • Font type, font size
    • Text, text background color, text alignment
    • Merge tag for # of properties available
  4. The Property Count Search Criteria allows you to select the number of listings you want to be displayed based on the cities or neighborhoods you choose.
  5. If you want to change where the panel shows on your home page, use the Property Search Placement to move it around.
  6. Make sure you save your changes by clicking on the save icon in the upper right corner.
