What is the Hero Video page panel?

The Hero Video page panel is used to showcase a larger video on the home page or seller landing page of your Firepoint website. This is a great way to showcase yourself or your team and the services you offer for potential leads. 


To edit the hero video panel, you will need to go to your IDX Site Management which can be found under Office Settings. Click on the home page or the seller landing page on the left side in your page menu bar. You will need to configure these separately on each of their respective pages.

Scroll down to the Page Panel section and click on the arrow to the right of Hero Video. Here are the options you have for your hero video panel:

1. Check this box if you would like this panel displayed on your home page or seller landing page.
2. This is the Panel Background Color for the video gallery panel. It can be any color and you have the ability to make it transparent by opening the color palette and moving the bar to your desired setting.
3. You can add an image to the background of the hero video panel by clicking on Upload & Crop. The background image will always be centered on this panel.
   • Minimum recommended dimensions: 2880 x 1264 (px)
   • Maximum size: 5MB
   • Accepted formats: .gif, .jpeg, .png
4. This is where you can add your video. You can link the video from the following vendors: BombBomb, Vimeo, YouTube, Dailymotion, Wistia. If you do not have the link to the video, you can upload it from your computer. The file cannot be larger than 512 MB.
   • To remove the video, click on remove in the upper right corner above the video.
5. Make sure you save your changes by clicking on the save icon in the upper right corner.
