Q: When I am in a workflow and want to set up an email action, only certain templates are available based on type of workflow. I have a transaction workflow that I want to send an action email to a contact (that is part of the transaction). How do I create an activity to do this?
A: If the "use with" on the workflow is Transaction then you need to make sure that the template you want to use is set for Transaction also. The purpose of this is to prevent emails from having the wrong merge fields when you try to send them.
