Setting up vendors?

Q: How are all of you inputting your vendors & keeping track of your vendors or people that should be notified when it's time for them to take photos, do appraisals, etc.

A:  I have always kept vendors as the same as any other contact- even when the CRM made a separate "class" for them. The reason, I treat vendors as any other sphere of influence contact. They have the same possibility to refer business and do business. In Realvolve, I have them tagged as vendor and then another tag with what they are - termite, photog, painter, escrow, etc.
