Trouble with formatting email text?

Q: Formatting emails & trying to change the font and size, but the changes are not being reflected in the email draft window. 

A: It is possible that the email was pasted from some other source and is using an embedded font setting that is overriding our fonts. You may want to copy the entire body of the message and paste it into a NOTEPAD to get rid of all the font settings - then Wipe out the existing message and Copy the text from Notepad and paste it into the message area. This will eliminate the font settings that are embedded and you should then be able to highlight the entire body of the message and set the new font.
